1 Identity of Banjarnegara Shaman Slamet Victim Revealed, Jogja Resident

Semarang – One more identity of the victim who died of a fake money-doubling shaman in Banjarnegara, Slamet Tohari alias Mbah Slamet has been revealed. The victim is a resident of Yogyakarta.

A missing persons report post in Banjarnegara was opened to find the identities of four of Slamet’s victims. From that post various reports of missing persons and comparative data were obtained.

Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Regional Police, Kombes M Iqbal Alqudusy, said a DNA examination was carried out along with comparative evidence and then the identity of the victim was found out.

“Following DNA examination with comparative evidence from families with DNA profiles from four unidentified bone samples, it can be genetically proven that Mr. X’s ribs with hole 6B are identified as Kuwat Santosa, biological father of Nurul Wasiatil Fadilah from Yogyakarta,” explained Iqbal via short message, Thursday (25/5/2023).

The results were conveyed to the family and the Banjarnegara Police would facilitate the departure of the body to the family if the family wanted it.

“For bodies that have not been identified, the DVI team is still receiving comparative data for antemortem,” he said.

For your information, Slamet carried out a deceptive act by saying he could double the money in Banjarnegara. When the victim charged, he offered a poisoned drink under the pretext of a ritual. After the victims died, they were buried.

So far, the bodies of 12 Tohari victims have been identified, nine of which have been identified and brought by their families.

However, the suspect Slamet admitted that there were still 16 victims who had not been found. The police are still opening a missing persons post in Banjarnegara. So far, 28 people have been reported missing. The investigation and identification process is still ongoing.
