108 new cases tested positive for coronavirus, 122 new recovered, 2 new deaths and 43 serious cases in intensive care.

Out of 1242 tests carried out, 108 came back positive for the coronavirus, i.e. a positivity rate of 9.39%. These are 59 contact cases followed and 49 cases resulting from community transmission distributed as follows: Kaolack (5), Ziguinchor (5), Nord Foire (4), Pikine (3), Tamba (3), Tivaouane (3) ), Fatick (2), Mbour (2), Nioro (2), Rufisque (2), Dieuppeul (1), Fass (1), Grand Dakar (1), Guédiawaye (1), Kédougou (1), Keur Massar (1), Kolda (1), Marists (1), Mbao (1), Medina (1), Ngor (1), Ouakam (1), Sacré-cœur (1), Scat Urbam (1), Sokone (1 ), Thiès (1), Vélingara (1), Yeumbeul (1) and Yoff (1).

122 patients tested negative and declared cured.

43 serious cases are taken care of in the intensive care units.

2 new deaths linked to Covid-19, recorded.

To date, Senegal has 13,294 positive cases including 8,974 cured, 277 deaths and 4,042 still under treatment.
