A 15-year-old teenager was stabbed Monday night during a conflict that allegedly escalated in the Montreal-North borough.
The incident took place around 5 p.m. on Fleury Street, near London Avenue.
An argument that would have gone badly between the victim and two suspects would be at the origin of the attack. The 15-year-old boy was injured in the upper body by a sharp object, according to the spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Caroline Chèvrefils.
The teenager was conscious when he was taken to a hospital. His life is out of danger.
A 14-year-old suspect was quickly arrested by the SPVM near the scene of the incident. It is too early to determine if the victim knew his attackers, confirms Agent Chèvrefils.
