8:45 am: Asfinag starts up its construction sites again. Immediately after the start of the Corona restrictions in Austria, Asfinag switched to emergency operation and stopped construction and renovation work on Styrian motorways and expressways. 7:05 p.m. Those feared by the authorities Crowds that stormed excursion destinations on Easter Sunday failed to appear. “In principle, the Styrians adhere to the guidelines very well,” says Manfred Gruber from the Styrian State Police Directorate in “Styria Today”.
6:29 p.m. Are in Styria four other people infected with the Corona virus died. As announced by the State Medical Directorate of Styria on Easter Sunday evening, this has so far been in Styria a total of 80 people died in connection with the corona virus.
The newly reported deaths were therefore two men (born in 1939 and 1948) from the Graz-Umgebung district, one (born in 1942) from the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district and one man (born in 1942) from the regional capital Graz. The hardest hit Styrian districts so far are Hartberg-Fürstenfeld with a total of 25 deaths, followed by the Graz area with 19 deaths and the city of Graz with 15 deaths.
