Honor presented a flock of new smartphones at a conference in China, including GSM Arena echoes. In addition to the Honor Magic Vs, its folding phone whose European release is likely, the manufacturer has also unveiled its new Honor 80 and 80 Pro.

Both phones are equipped with OLED screens and a 160 megapixel main sensor. More specifically, the Honor 80 Pro is based on a 6.78-inch curved panel with a resolution of 2700 x 1224 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Honor 80 for its part is based on a slightly smaller panel, 6, 67 inches, in Full HD+ and 120 Hz.

160 megapixels for both

On the photo side, the Pro is also a little more muscular for selfies, since it incorporates a pill-shaped punch with two cameras inside, one of 50 megapixels and a depth sensor of 2 megapixels. The Honor 80, for its part, has a single 32-megapixel camera for selfies.

Recall that the two devices share the main sensor of 160 megapixels. Type 1 / 1.56 inch, it opens at f / 1.8 and offers pixel binning 16 in 1. The Honor 80 Pro also enlists the services of an ultra wide-angle 50 megapixel, swapped for an 8 megapixels in the Honor 80. Both phones complete the package with a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

In terms of power, here too, the two models stand out. The Honor 80 Pro sports a proud Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a chip clearly aimed at the high end, while the basic Honor 80 incorporates the brand new Snapdragon 782G, successor to the 778 G+, a much more mid-range chip. Both phones will come with MagicOS 7 running Android 12a 4800 mAh battery with 66 W charging. Four colors are offered, black, green, blue and pink.

We do not yet know the availability of these two devices for France. The Honor 80 Pro is trading at 3499 yuan (469 euros HT) in 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage and 4099 yuan (549 euros HT) in 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
