KOMPAS.com – Singer and songwriter from Malaysia, Sandra Dianne Ampuria died at Putrajaya Hospital, Friday (11/9/2020).
The participant in the Big Stage talent search event died in the intensive care unit (ICU), where he was treated after being involved accident mobil di North-South Expressway Central Link (Elite).
Quoted from NST, Sunday (13/9/2020), one of his close friends, Sarah Fazny Mahadzir, was the first to announce the death of Sandra Dianne on her Facebook account.
“Sandra’s struggle in the (music) industry is over, but our prayers will continue to exist for her soul. She is good at heart, always positive and we will all miss her. RIP Sandra Dianne,” Sarah wrote.
Sandra Dianne’s recording label, Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia, Veea Norman said, the body will be buried at her birthplace, Kampung Kauluan in Tuaran.
When the accident happened, Sandra Dianne, known for her single entitled “Hey Kau”, was heading to Putrajaya International Convention Center.
Not alone, Sandra Dianne and her cousin attended a full rehearsal concert for the latest episode of Big Stage 3.
According to the police, the car in which Sandra Dianne was traveling was involved in a collision with five other vehicles at around 15.00 local time.
When he was rushed to the hospital, Sandra Dianne’s condition had been unconscious since Saturday (4/9/2020) due to her head injury.
Until finally, Sandra Dianne was declared dead on September 11, 2020, after five days of intensive care.
