The event took place before 11 am near the village of Široká Niva. The boy fell from a height of four to five meters.
“The wounded man was conscious at the time of the intervention of the crews and reported pain in the lumbar spine,” said Ladislav Lang, a deputy spokesman for the Moravian-Silesian rescuers, adding that the boys had been given medication.
Rescuers also immobilized him with a neck collar and a vacuum full-body mattress. “For further examination and treatment, he was airlifted to a specialized workplace of the university hospital,” he added.
