MOSCOW, June 19 – RIA News. A part of the automotive bridge on the Lama river collapsed in the Volokolamsk urban district of the Moscow region, but there were no injuries, the Russian Emergency Ministry press service told the RIA Novosti.
"During the attempt to drive an automobile MAZ charged, three concrete slabs collapsed in the middle of the bridge," said the source of the agency, adding that the accident occurred on a local road between the villages of Musino and Maloye Syrkovo.
According to him, according to preliminary data, there are no deaths or injuries.
Subsequently, the interlocutor of the agency clarified that the road bridge consists of 18 reinforced concrete slabs of 6 to 1.5 meters each. Its total length is 27 meters. As a result of the accident, the truck went into the water, the driver is alive, it's on the scene. The movement of other vehicles on the bridge is interrupted.
