A construction accident occurred this Friday morning in Schaerbeek, rue du Pavillon. A worker found himself in a well of three meters, indicates the SIAMU of Brussels. The incident took place around 9:45 a.m.
When the medical rescue services and firefighters including the RISC (Rescue In Safe Condition, climbing team) team arrived on the scene, “the unfortunate worker was working on the lower level, 10 meters deep, and found himself, under circumstances yet to be determined, in a three-meter shaft.“
The worker was secured on a trauma board and then taken out”from its awkward position by the site crane.“The vital prognosis is fortunately not engaged but the worker was still injured in the lower limbs.
