A Czech gem for the Bundesliga? Bayern and Dortmund are interested in Hložka

Will Sparta Hložka sell? The question is not if, but rather when. According to the German media, it could be relatively early, as the German big clubs Bayern and Dortmund are interested in the Czech league leader in productivity.

Hložek is currently training with Sparta in Marbella, Spain. It has been associated in the past with well-known European football names such as Liverpool, Ajax or AC Milan.

The specialized portal Transfermakt estimates Hložek’s price at 19 million euros (almost half a billion crowns). In the past, however, Sparta made it clear that it was in no hurry to sell its megatalent.

This was recently confirmed by Sparta’s sports director Tomáš Rosický, according to whom the Prague club does not intend to release its star in the winter transfer period and wants to strive for the title with all the support in the spring.

“I don’t care what other people think about its price. We don’t want to lose Adam, we are willing to talk about his possible departure in the summer. It doesn’t matter how much it will cost, “said Rosický.

Adam Hložka will release Sparta in the summer at the earliest, says Tomáš Rosický. What about other players?Video: Sport.cz

It is not excluded that they will wait for Letná in Letná, which could exceed the mentioned 19 million.

Hložek could thus surpass the Czech club transfer record of Tomáš Souček, for which Slavia from West Ham also collected approximately half a billion crowns.

As with Souček, the well-known Czech agent Pavel Paska represents the 19-year-old star. This has been the case in the past with one major transfer from Sparta to Dortmund. In 2001, he sold Rosický along the same route for 449 million crowns.
