The fire department said one person died and another disappeared after the collapse of a weather-related building in an Amazon distribution warehouse on the southeastern side of Baltimore, the Baltimore Sun reports.
The Roman leader Clark tells the Sun that a 50-foot wall collapsed last Friday at the Amazon Evasion Center when a storm hit the area. Clark says that a person was found under the debris and taken to a hospital, where the person was declared dead, reports the Sun. Adds that a second person has not been evaluated.
Pictures taken from the outside of the structure have shown a severely damaged truck and a post of light shot down, reports the Sun.
The National Weather Service had previously warned of storms in the area, with some gusty winds and heavy rains.
