While Samsung is expected to unveil its new mid-range Galaxy A53 5G smartphone tomorrow, it has already been unboxed on video in Vietnam before its official presentation. We now know everything about him.

It sometimes happens that youtubers are a little too eager to publish the unboxing videos of new smartphones, and it is the new Galaxy A53 5G from Samsung which has paid the price this time. The YouTuber of the Vietnamese channel Đức Khánh unveiled on the online video platform a complete unboxing of the smartphone before its launch.

The grip completely reveals the device in son coloris « Blue Sky », and now we know everything about its technical sheet. On the design side, the smartphone is exactly like the renderings unveiled by the leaker OnLeaks a few months ago. The device is 8.1 mm thick and weighs 189 grams. The bottom side of the phone features a SIM slot, USB-C port, microphone and speaker grill, but Samsung made the choice this year to ditch the headphone jack from previous models.

What technical characteristics for the Galaxy A53 5G?

According to the information given in the now deleted video reveals a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a definition FHD+ and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Galaxy A53 5G is powered by a generous 5000 mAh batterybut the fast charging is still limited to 25W in this segment at Samsung, while it often reaches 65 W at the competition in 2022.

The smartphone is powered by a new Exynos 1280 SoC. The CPU includes two ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2 GHz, and the Mali-G68 GPU with four cores clocked at 1000 MHz.

On the photo side, the smartphone will bet on a four-camera setup with a 64MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra wide-angle sensor, a 5MP macro sensor as well as a 5MP depth sensor. The Galaxy A53 5G will be officially introduced tomorrow by Samsung at an Unpacked conference, alongside a more expensive model: the Galaxy A73 5G.
