The police of Tennessee has been searching for hours a suspect in the shooting death of three women and a teenager and seriously injure another young woman in three different places this Saturday night. Finally, they found the man, named Mavis Christian Jr., 52, dead inside his car after apparently shooting himself.
On Field Lark Drive, a woman and a 13-year-old girl were killed by multiple gunshots and a 15-year-old girl suffered serious injuries. Another woman was shot and killed on Warrington Road, according to police spokesman Christopher Williams.
Local, state and federal law enforcement agencies have participated in the search, according to Memphis police.
Police had warned people not to approach Christian, who they believe is driving a 2017 white Chrevrolet Malibu. All of the shootings are believed to be a domestic violence situation, according to police.
