Al-Marsad newspaper: A documentary film produced by the New York Times revealed that the father of the famous singer Britney Spears assigned a security company to eavesdrop on her phone calls and text messages during the guardianship imposed by the court since 2008.
Alex Vlasov, a former Black Box security employee who worked with the singer’s team for nearly nine years, said the company “copied” the singer’s phone onto an iPad by logging into her iCloud account.
He pointed out that a bug was placed in her bedroom as well, while the filmmakers indicated that he was asked to decode some of Britney’s text conversations to send to her father, Jimmy Spears, and an employee of a business management company that the father hired, according to “Sky News.”
He pointed out that when he inquired about the eavesdropping, they told him that the monitoring of Britney’s communications is taking place “in the interest of her security and protection”, and that the court supervising the guardianship “is aware of the matter”, as well as the singer’s lawyer at this time. Vlasov said the surveillance included discussions between Britney and her lawyer.
Britney Spears has been in a legal battle to end the guardianship that allowed her father to oversee her personal affairs and fortune, which amounts to about 60 million dollars, since 2008 after the collapse of her mental state.
