WhatsApp developers are working on a feature that will pause recording of voice messages. About it reported portal WABetaInfo – it monitors the tested versions of the messenger.
The new feature is expected to arrive in a future update and will be available to iOS and Android users.
“This feature is very useful because it will not need to record a new message,” notes WABetaInfo.
The innovation is under development and is not yet available for beta testers. A demo video has been published on the portal, in which, after stopping the recording of a voice message, another recording button appears. By pressing, the message recording can be resumed from the same place.
Earlier, reporters found several new lines of code in the beta version of WhatsApp, pointing to work on introducing a feature called “Community”. In their opinion, the “Communities” function will allow you to create your own social networks inside the WhatsApp messenger, by analogy with how groups work within the Facebook social network. The community will be able to contain several groups, as well as be a channel for messages from administrators.
