The two women, aged 26 and 53, were injured. The youngest’s vital prognosis is “engaged”, according to police. Firefighters reported that they had been transferred to Edouard-Herriot Hospital.
According to another police source, these women are from the Dominican Republic. This source specifies that a witness assured that the driver of the car had deliberately collided with the van, but this remains to be formally established. An investigation was opened by the Traffic Accidents and Crime Brigade (BADR) for “bodily injury with hit and run”.
