A toothache on the left, a reconciliation and a promise: “We still have many campaigns to go”

This Friday started off on the wrong foot for António Costa. Or rather, with a tooth to the left “playing a game” in a preview of the headaches he will have in the near future – not least because after the local elections, negotiations for the State Budget begin. António Costa was, in these fifteen days, also putting his governance and his popularity to the test and, lulled by the receptions he had been having, he left a promise. “Last campaign? ‘Naaa’, we still have many campaigns to go”, responded in statements to TVI, in the middle of the street in Chiado, without specifying exactly whether his next will be the 2023 legislative ones (or another, if his decision is not to re-apply).
