A virtual ceremony on the occasion of the Arab Orphan Day

Under the patronage of Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Zayed House for Family Care organized a virtual party on the occasion of the “Arab Orphan Day.”

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zayed House for Family Care, in addition to the general managers of government agencies, members of the House’s Board of Directors, General Manager, employees and children of Zayed House, and the ceremony included paragraphs presented by the children of the house.

The ceremony began with the national peace and recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the child Mane Saeed, then a welcome speech from His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, who was among the personalities of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul” and was a witness to the established approach that set his first daughter, the late one. Establishing the house in 1988 in the treasury, to represent a monument witnessing the interest, care and tenderness of the father, the founder of the state, and to be a home for those who need care, attention, a good upbringing and a helping hand that guarantees a decent life in the Emirates.

His Excellency extended his thanks and appreciation to Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, for his generous and continuous patronage of the Orphan Day party since 2011, which expresses the extent of our leaders ’interest in that dear group and evidence of their keenness on this category in what is grown in them. For his part, Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi thanked the wise leadership for the great support for the children of the house, and said: “The children of the house are at the top of the rational leadership’s priorities, and the care and care of a child who has lost family care, who is deprived of his family’s care, is a humanitarian duty that always motivates us to work diligently to provide care. Necessary for him to satisfy his emotional need, develop his abilities and talents, and build his personality to become a worthy member of society; guided by the directives of the wise leadership; the need to provide the necessary support to protect and empower the family.

For her part, the young woman, Amal Al-Yarubi – in the speech of the Arab Orphan Day 2021 that she delivered on behalf of the children of the house – thanked on behalf of the children of the house the wise leadership and management of the home for the concern and support for orphans .. adding: “We feel proud and proud to be part of the members of this generous nation.” .

The ceremony included a visual video about the sports and educational achievements of the house’s children and highlighting the role of the youth volunteers in community service during the Corona pandemic, in addition to a poem by the poet Awad Rashid Al-Sabaa Al-Ketbi, the heritage coach at the house, and the ceremony included heritage and artistic paragraphs.
