Abseiler (53) falls into abyss in front of students during abseiling lesson | Abroad

This was reported by the Australian police in a statement. The man was giving an abseiling lesson to a group of high school students on a field trip in Boranup, a town about three hours from the city of Perth.

For some unknown reason, the instructor’s equipment came loose and he fell into the abyss. A number of students were already downstairs and saw him fall to the ground.

A trauma helicopter arrived on the scene, but help was of no avail. Local authorities are investigating the gruesome death.
