At the end of August, Activision Blizzard was loud pozwao CXCheats group, dealing with the creation of cheats, among others for games with cyklu Call of Duty. However, not only she was targeted by the giant from California. As it turns out, in as part of the fight against dishonest players, appropriate steps were also taken against another large team that prepared forbidden facilities for Modern Warfare and Warzone GatorCheats (via Charlie INTEL).
The story of the battle with Activision Blizzard will be shared on Discord by the owner of GatorCheats. According to his declaration, it all started in May this year. Then they are the publisher’s lawyers Call of Duty they sent the crew a call to stop. As a consequence, a decision was made to recall all frauds produced to new customers Modern Warfare and Warzone. This, however, was not enough. Here’s what we read later in the release:
In September 2020, Activision Blizzard lawyers wrote me another letter of cease and desist, which was passed on to me by a person who, I believe, was a private detective, who knew my family members by name and did not fail to boast about it.
Also in September 2020, I received a very clear declaration from Activision Blizzard’s attorneys that I would go to court (file a lawsuit against me) if I did not comply with the prohibition to stop selling and updating already created products related to their clients’ titles.
It became clear to me that simply ceasing to sell our products to new customers is not enough, and as much as I do not love my customers, I love my family more. I cannot allow myself to be judged by these companies and I have obligations to my relatives as their sole provider ().
I have already stopped selling and updating products related to Activision Blizzard games.
I hereby certify that I will never create, test, or update any Activision Blizzard gaming product again.
I encourage all my clients not to look for other sources of products related to Activision Blizzard games, especially since the company has already contacted or will most likely contact their developers.
I hope that since almost all of you have had 5 months to use our products, you feel that your money will not be wasted. Otherwise, in the near future, I will look for a way to make up for the situation as a whole.
And in fact, when we enter the website of the GatorCheats team, we will not find any cheats for the games from the series Call of Duty or other productions published by Activision Blizzard. The whole situation, however, did not deter them completely. The cheats created by her are still available for sale GTA Online, Dead by Daylight and Valuing.
Finally, we would like to remind you that the next installment of the series Call of Duty – Black Ops – Cold War will debut on November 13 this year. Will Activision Blizzard’s determined action keep it relatively fraud-free from the outset? Let’s hope so.
