Al-Marsad Newspaper: The wife of the Egyptian artist, Hassan Shakoush, broke her silence and responded to the criticism she was subjected to because of her prostration during their wedding ceremony, which took place last Friday.
Reem Tariq, the wife of the mahraganat singer, said in statements to the “ET in Arabic” program, that her prostration in joy was not a spur-of-the-moment action, refusing to accuse her of searching for a “trend”.
And she continued, “This is something far from social media, and no one can laugh at our Lord.”
And she added, “I was making a covenant on myself. When I enter the first look, I must prostrate and thank our Lord because he compensated me with goodness. He is the best person in the world in my eyes.”
For his part, Hassan Shakoush commented: “It is not an obligation to pray.”
