There was no infant formula on the flight.
A Filipino flight attendant is praised for going over his duty call to lighten a crying baby on board. Patrisha Organ, 24, one of Philippine Airlines' crew members rushed to help an anxious mother and nursed her inconsolable baby in flight.
Organ heard a baby cry immediately after the flight took off and went to offer assistance to the mother. "Everything went smoothly until take-off, I heard a cry of a child, a cry that will make you want to do anything to help," said TFT citing Organo. He added: "I tried to tell her to feed her hungry child, with teary eyes, she told me that she ran out of formula," he told The Filipino Times.
Unfortunately, on the flight there was no milk that meant feeding the hungry crying baby would not have been possible. Even Organo was panicked, but decided to nurse the same daughter of the passenger. "I thought about myself, there's only one thing I could offer and that nurses the baby alone, and so I offered," said Organo.
The mother and her child were assisted by the flight line administrator at the aerial galley where Organo nursed the baby until he fell asleep. "The girl started to cheer, she was so hungry, I accompanied her to her place and just before leaving, her mother sincerely thanked me, thank you, Lord, for the gift of breast milk," he added Organ.
Organ shared the story on Facebook and posted a picture of her holding the crying baby. The post has become viral collecting over 96,000 likes, 3,700 comments and 18,000 shares with Organ touching millions of hearts for his kind gesture.
