Al-Najma Club decided the Lebanese football derby in its favor after defeating its counterpart Al-Ansar in the first six (9th stage), with a score of 3-2 over the Fouad Shehab Complex in Jounieh.
The first half ended with a goalless draw between the two teams, while the second session witnessed the scoring of 5 goals, opened by Al-Ansar through Haj Malik Tal in the 58th minute, before Khalil Al-Badr equalized (65), but the green leader returned to the lead with the goal of Haj Malik, making the score 2-1.

Al-Nijmeh raised its score to 31 points in third place, behind Al-Ansar Club, which has 32 points, and Al-Ahed, who topped it with 33 points, after its victory over Shabab Al-Sahel 2-0.

The struggle for the coronation is between Al-Ahed and Al-Ansar only, who meet in the tenth and final week, as the first needs any tie result in order to win the title, while the second must win alone.
