ALDI, Norma, LIDL and EDEKA also terminate supply relationships with Schlachthof Oldenburg

The frozen food manufacturer Frosta and the Bünting group have already concluded their collaboration with the scandal-bovine slaughterhouse of Standard GmbH & Co. KG in Oldenburg with immediate effect on Thursday, and now also the commercial chains Norma, LIDL, ALDI Süd and North are moving, the HIT-Frische-Markt of NRW and of EDEKA-Verbund and from now on it no longer obtains goods containing meat coming from the indicated slaughterhouse.

In addition, the cutting and processing company of Hamburg Standard-Fleisch GmbH & Co. KG and the feed manufacturer Landguth (which also supplies Fressnapf) have decided to discontinue their supply relationships. These companies will no longer buy meat from the Oldenburg slaughterhouse.

The companies were horrified by the conditions of the Oldenburg slaughterhouse, they reacted immediately and concluded the cooperation with the slaughterhouse or Goldschmaus or other suppliers until further notice. Goldschmaus is one of the largest buyers of meat and works closely with the slaughterhouse of the Oldenburg scandal.

Animal rights activists believe the closure of the slaughterhouse is delayed and criticize the Ministry of Agriculture and the competent veterinary office.
