The chairman of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Investment Alert Task Force, Tongam L. Tobing, emphasized that SuntonFX is a forex broker that is not registered in Indonesia.
“Sunton Capital does not have a license in Indonesia,” he told CNBC Indonesia yesterday.
Sunton Capital is said to be luring a fairly large profit, in the range of 5% to 20%. Sunton Capital is also considered to have entered the money game and ponzi categories.

A margin call is a warning system indicating that the trading account funds are insufficient to open a trading position. “Well, when that happens, usually the next stage of the broker runs away and all services cannot be accessed,” Ananda tweeted.
Based on the information circulating, Sunton Capital is a foreign forex broker originating from the UK. SuntonFX’s way of working is similar to a broker in general. Prior to trading, customers are required to make a minimum deposit of US$ 50.
Furthermore, the investment manager will direct the customer to make a buy or sell transaction based on the specified time. However, now, the broker is in trouble and many customers in Indonesia are at a loss.
Meanwhile, based on the findings of the Investment Alert Task Force as of October 2021, there are 111 illegal investment entities whose business activities in commodity futures trading have been discontinued. From the list, for example, there are the names Binomo, Octa FX, Roboforex Indonesia.
