FrankfurtThe Munich-based insurance giant will invest in the expansion of the fiber-optic network for fast Internet in Lower Austria. alliance Capital Partners has been awarded the contract by the Lower Austrian Broadband Holding for the joint expansion of the broadband network in rural areas of Lower Austria, the Alliance said. The goal is to supply approximately 100,000 households with fiber-optic cables between 2020 and 2022. The investment volume amounts to around 300 million euros. Already at the end of last year, Allianz had invested in the expansion of the fiber-optic network in France.
