Amazon breaks records and labor law (Tageszeitung junge Welt)


Faster, higher, further – Amazon knows no bounds. The world's largest online retailer delivers another quarter with record results: In the first quarter of the year surplus grew by a surprisingly strong 125 percent to 3.6 billion dollars (3.2 billion euros), as Amazon announced on Thursday after US market close. Revenue rose 17 percent to $ 59.7 billion. But that's not enough. To be able to continue to reap rich profits, Amazon customers will be even faster in the future, happy with their goods.
