Amazon raises the starting salary of warehouse employees in Italy

Amazon announced today the increase of the entrance salary for all employees employed at its logistics sites in Italy. Over the past decade, the company has confirmed its position as one of the country’s leading job creators with over 12,500 permanent employees, offering stable and well-paid professional opportunities, with one of the highest entry salaries in the industry and numerous benefits including employee discounts on and supplemental accident insurance.

With the new pay hike announced today, which is part of Amazon’s regular payroll review, it informs a note, the entry salary for employees will amount to 1,680 euros gross, 8% more than what is foreseen by the collective bargaining agreement starting from October 1st.
