Munich Amazon has secured part of the German broadcasting rights to the Football Champions League. The online retail giant will show from the season 2021/22 in his streaming service “Amazon Prime” the top games of the European competition live on Tuesday, confirmed an Amazon spokesman for a report by the Internet media magazine “DWDL”.

The rights were tendered for three seasons. “We are delighted to be able to show the UEFA Champions League to our customers in Germany,” said Amazon Prime Video Director Alex Green. Who shows the live games on Wednesday, initially remained unclear.
