AMG will embark on sports electric cars, as well as Audi Sport and BMW M

The AMG division is not completely unpopular when it comes to electric cars, in 2012 it launched a limited series of electric supersport SLS. However, electric times are still waiting for sports Mercedes. Like it is u “emkových” BMW or models RS from Audi.

Following the unveiling of the new EQA crossover last month, Schäfer told Britain’s Autocar that “the AMG electric platform is coming.” He also revealed that there will be “powerful EQA, B, S and E variants.”

What this will mean is not yet clear. If we stay with the example of the EQA model, currently the most powerful motorization called 250 has a 66.5 kWh battery, which supplies an electric motor with an output of 140 kilowatts, 190 hp.

At the first trailer, however, Mercedes tied to a “series of even more powerful all-wheel drive models” with another engine in the back. These variants will have an output of 200 kW, 272 hp, and more. Some of them will probably bear the AMG marks.
