Books – Alaa Hajjaj:

Omar El-Sahi, the general manager of Amazon Egypt, was one of those who received fraudulent text messages telling them that Amazon had opened the door for employment in Egypt, he said.

Recently, many mobile users received text messages on their mobile phones or WhatsApp with the title Amazon Jobs, which chased thousands of users.

The wording of these letters and the amount of salary varied, but most came in this format: “Hello I am a hiring manager at Amazon, and we are currently looking for 80 part-time online employees working from home using mobile phone, you can easily earn 1000 to 3000 pounds per day.”

Al-Sahi said during yesterday’s conference that the company implemented an awareness campaign through various social media platforms to explain to users the differences between fraudulent messages and official messages.
