Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer accuses Deutsche Umwelthilfe of being wrong.
- The head of the CDU also wants to take a closer look at the immigration policy.
- An examination of the entire migration complex is required.
DThe new leader of the CDU, Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, attacks the Environmental Environmental Aid (DUH). "The Umwelthilfe is currently under discussion, for example, with the announcement of a legal action against fireworks on New Year's Eve in urban centers," Kramp-Karrenbauer said in an interview with WELT AM SONNTAG.
This is not about financially drying the club, but about dealing with it politically. Kramp-Karrenbauer said: "We will now see the legal situation, but a political debate on whether or not we can financially support the campaign against certain propulsion technologies that environmental aid has apparently started, we must already drive".
At the December 8th party congress, the CDU decided to consider the non-profit nature of the DUH, which applies diesel driving bans in cities with its complaints. The party also wants to make sure that the club no longer receives funds from the federal budget.
Just in time for the review of the CDU board of directors on Sunday Kramp-Karrenbauer outlined in a conversation with WELT AM SONNTAG their political goal for this year. Announced the basic revision of the entire migration complex.
"Our security agencies must become more assertive, even in the area of overall migration," said Kramp-Karrenbauer. "In February we want to hold a laboratory talk in the CDU."
This is a general debate, starting with the 2015 decisions up to now. "We will consider the whole issue of immigration from the protection of the external border to asylum procedures to integration from the point of view of effectiveness, together with the experts of Frontex and the BAMF, we will ask what is necessary to improve and where ".
Chancellor Angela Merkel described the 2015 discussion as "lost time". Kramp-Karrenbauer is not in agreement with this point of view: "It would be ruined if we limited this debate to this, but it would be a strange state if we were to deal completely with the CDU and exclude the year 2015."
Kramp-Karrenbauer also proposes a tax reform for companies. "We must consider how we can strengthen the domestic economy and our competitive situation, for example by reducing the tax burden on businesses".
The head of the CDU said he did not understand that Finance Minister Olaf Scholz (SPD) provided assistance only in the event of an economic slowdown: "It would make more sense to allow this relief right from the start and do not wait until the economy was weakened. "
Kramp-Karrenbauer also criticized the fact that the SPD and the Left Party abused the discussion on the abolition of the solidarity supplement for an envious debate. "They describe ten percent of the population, which is not yet raised, as super-rich, and they are often silent about the fact that they are often small and medium-sized enterprises that need to be relieved of their burden.
Kramp-Karrenbauer also turns against the CDU politicians who are already talking about the next candidate for the Chancellor. EU Commissioner Günther Oettinger spoke in favor of a candidacy by Friedrich Merz.
For "completely superfluous" Kramp-Karrenbaue supports the initiative: "We have a chancellor Before we talk about nominations, we have to bring together the CDU in the state that allows effective election campaigns." It was the right of the party leader to propose the candidate to the Chancellor. "This is true for all the Presidents of the CDU, and this applies to me as well."
