UA serious road accident in Antwerp on the night of Saturday to Sunday left one dead, the 67-year-old driver, and 18 injured among the passengers, including one seriously, according to police spokesman Wouter Bruyns.
The road accident took place around 3:30 a.m. at a crossroads in the Flemish metropolis. A minibus carrying British nationals was traveling at high speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle on a bend. The minibus hit a pole before rolling onto its side.
The driver did not survive the accident. The other 18 passengers were taken to hospital. A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured and his life is in danger. The other people on board had minor injuries.
