Earlier, we said that Apple will hold a conference for WWDC 2020 developers in an online format – this is due to the coronavirus pandemic, because of which perhaps everything that was possible was canceled this year.
Today Apple announced that the WWDC 2020 conference will start on June 22 and will be held online in the application and on the Apple Developer website. Participation in the conference for all developers will be free.
This year, the WWDC will not only be held in a unique format, but will also become the largest in its entire history: our community of developers from around the world, more than 23 million people, will come together for one week in June to learn about the future of Apple platforms.
We look forward to meeting the developers online and showcasing our new technologies that will help them create even more amazing applications and services. As we approach WWDC20, we will be reporting new details about this wonderful event.

Also, Apple has planned a competition for the development of mini-applications in Swift language among student developers:
Students are an integral part of the Apple developer community. Last time, more than 350 student developers from 37 countries attended WWDC.
In anticipation of the WWDC20 conference, which will be held this time in an online format, we want to see and appreciate the creative successes of our youngest developers from around the world. We really want to see how the new generation of inventors will implement their ideas in the Swift Student Challenge.

The lecture schedule, presentation materials and other information will be available, as I said at the very beginning, in the Apple Developer app and on the Apple Developer website. We are waiting for the announcement of iOS 14 and other operating systems, as well as new gadgets!
By the way, a lot is already known about iOS 14 – 9to5Mac turned out to have leaked system code. Here’s what is known about the new system for mobile devices:
Looking forward to the conference?
