Apple's AirPower charging mat was already considered a set. Now a Chinese website announces that the device is coming and names a production date.
In 2017, Apple announced the AirPower charging mat. With the wireless battery of the iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods they should be able to charge at the same time. But it quickly became quiet for the product. Apple has removed almost all references to the loading mat from its website. It is not known if the device is still arriving.
Now the AirPower has yet to be produced. This reports the Chinese website "ChargerLAB" with reference to "reliable sources". According to "ChargerLAB", the manufacturer "Luxshare Precision" should produce the device. Luxshare Precision also manufactures Apple AirPods or USB C-to-Lightning cables.
Production from January 21st
According to "ChargerLAB" also the company "Pegatron" should start mass production of AirPower. Here the page calls the concrete date of January 21st.
