Apple develops CarPlay with climate control and seat memory

Apple is developing a new version of CarPlay with improved integration with the car, reports Bloomberg.

The project, codenamed IronHeart, is in its early stages and requires the cooperation of automakers.

Apple wants CarPlay to have access to climate control, seat adjustment, speedometer and audio system.

By gaining access to most of the instruments and sensors, CarPlay could replace the on-board computer and fully control almost the entire car.

The future of the project depends on the automakers. There is no guarantee that they will agree to give Apple the ability to control the machine. [Bloomberg]
