It is in general indifference that Apple announced to offer refurbished iPhones on theApple Store in Belgium. But what is it really?
For the past few days, the online Apple Store in Belgium has been selling second-hand iPhone 12s and 13s. This is good news for Belgian users who wish to upgrade their existing iPhone or who wish to invest in a good model at a lower cost.
At the level of the refurbishment itself, Apple announces that all available iPhone models include a new battery, a new external case, a one-year warranty as well as free shipping and returns, and benefit from the following elements:
- Full functional testing, replacement of genuine Apple parts (if applicable), and deep cleaning
- The original version of the operating system or a newer version
- All refurbished devices are packed in a new box with all accessories and cables
Refurbished, but at what price?
On the Belgian Apple Store, the refurbished iPhone 12 is sold for €689 (i.e. €120 less than the price of new) on the Apple site. For a refurbished iPhone 13, count 869 € (i.e. 160 € less compared to new). Please note that prices may obviously vary depending on storage capacity and available models. The site also offers iPhone mini, Pro and Pro Max.
Generally speaking, prices on Apple Refurb are significantly higher than other refurbishers. However, we are guaranteed to have a device in excellent condition. Indeed, Apple offers a quality device, after-sales service with AppleCare.
