Argentina is currently touching its worst historical datawith a year-on-year inflation of 124.4%.
“Inflation is a huge problem in Argentina and the mistakes of this Government hurt the people,” acknowledged the official candidate and Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, who apologized to voters for the “mistakes” committed during the mandate. by Alberto Fernández.
For his economic agenda, Massa proposed three pillars for its economic policy: the creation of a new Argentine digital currency, a new money laundering law and a tightening of exchange rate policy. “We must stop being beggars to be a sovereign country,” said the head of the Treasury Palace.
In this sense, Massa referred to the dollarization proposal of the libertarian candidate, Javier Milei, which he described as not very “patriotic.”
