Moroccan Ashraf Bin Sharqi, player of the Egyptian club Zamalek, was expelled during his team’s match against Ismaily in the round of 16 of the Egypt Cup.
At the end of the first half, the atmosphere flared up after referee Amin Omar announced the red card in the face of Bin Sharqi after a strong intervention on an Ismaili player who received a yellow card, followed by another yellow card to get the red.
Bin Sharqi objected to his warning and pushed the ball to the ground, which prompted the match referee to warn him again to be expelled.
Bin Sharqi refused to leave the stadium, and tried to speak with the referee of the match, Amin Omar, and the French Patrice Carteron intervened and directed phrases to the referee, which called for the expulsion of the coach of Zamalek.
