The Filming at the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, California on Wednesday evening was particularly shocking to Ashton Kutcher, who revealed that he had previously celebrated his birthday at the bar at the start of this year.

His wife Mila Kunis "organized a birthday party for me at the Borderline, only for the fact that we are alive a different shot was chosen", he tweeted. "My heart goes to the victims, I'll say it again … Gun reform now! Politicians must stop being behind the dollar and protect people!"

Towards the end of Wednesday, an armed man raided, dressed in black, and attacked customers at the country music bar located about 40 miles west of Los Angeles. At least 11 victims were killed on the scene; a deputy died after his injuries, said the sheriff of Ventura County, Geoff Dean. The armed man, later identified by the police as Ian David Long, was found dead inside.

Kutcher, 40, also revealed that he received a gun in the Borderline Bar and Grill parking lot after his birthday party.

"This is neither one nor one at all! It supports mental health initiatives and supports gun reform," said Kutcher. "My friend gave me a gun as a gift in the border parking lot for my birthday, I never shot it, I do not think I'll ever do it."

Kutcher went on to ask for gun reform in a series of tweets: "I grew up a hunter, I worked in a gun club pulling a growing trap. No body is taking your guns !!! Reform gun !!!! Let it be a test Your electorate does not want to die when he goes to church or a concert or a bar! "

"The BS rhetoric around arming more people to protect others is just that, BS," Kutcher continued. "The armed people were killed last night! Gun reform now !!!"

He also invited Ivanka Trump to talk with his father, President Donald Trump, on the gun reform. Kutcher said that Ivanka's brother-in-law Joshua Kushner, husband's brother Jared Kushner, was at the party.

"@IvankaTrump your brother-in-law was in that birthday party, could have been just as easily a victim," he wrote on Twitter. "Go to the synagogues you could be a victim! Talk to your father! Implore with your father! Let this be your legacy! Gun reform now!"

With tweeting that we need to "support mental health care initiatives", Kutcher provided some suggestions for the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

"The ATF must request background checks," Kutcher tweeted. "Improve state and federal systems for veterinary owners and buyers, link mental health records to the purchase of fire arms, increase mental health funds, focus on counterfeiting and illegal acquisition.
