Two days ago, a man died on the platforms of the 18 de Marzo Sports Station, of Line 3 of the Metro Collective Transportation System in Mexico City, in view of users and security personnel.
The user who was traveling to the Indios Verdes station began to vomit blood, so the person with whom he was traveling requested the support of the passengers who, in turn, gave notice to the security elements of the station.
The person, 47, was accompanied by his sister, named Patricia, who said the victim suffered from tuberculosis.

In social networks, a video was circulated in which the moment is appreciated, which generated concern, since tuberculosis is transmitted from person to person through the air. When a patient with pulmonary tuberculosis coughs, sneezes or spits, he expels tubercle bacilli into the air.
It is enough for a person to inhale a few bacilli to become infected, says WHO.
However, the Secretariat of Health of the CDMX clarified that the man did not die of tuberculosis in the Metro March 18, as his relative said.

“The death certificate states that it is a 47-year-old male, dedicated to commerce, a resident of the State of Mexico, who suffered from diabetes and suffered a decompensation for this disease. The cause of death based on the certificate is diabetic ketoacidosis” , said the agency in a bulletin.
Diabetic ketoacidosis is a serious metabolic complication of diabetes that occurs when the body produces high levels of acids present in the blood, called ketone bodies and is characterized by hyperglycemia, hypercetonemia and metabolic acidosis
