An urgent appeal was launched after a seven-year-old autistic girl disappeared after leaving home.
Police say they are increasingly concerned about the position of Angela Zheng, from Birmingham.
The officers tonight invited the public to help track down the young man.
Angela was last seen leaving her home on Kingstanding Road at 5.45pm. He was wearing a pink Mickey Mouse top with sequins and black leggings.
A spokesman for the West Midlands police said: "This is an urgent appeal to the sightings of a young Chinese girl who left her home in Kingstanding, Birmingham.
"Angela Zheng left her home on Kingstanding Road today at about 5.45pm and hasn't been seen since. Please call 999 if you see her."
Police said that Angela is unlikely to communicate with members of the public or ask for help.
