The Lebanese delegation continued its participation in the Summer Olympic Games (Tokyo – 2020), where yesterday, Wednesday, the first stop was in the Olympic pit shooting competition (Trap), and Olympic shooter Ray Bassil participated in it, accompanied by the President of the Olympic Committee, Dr. Pierre Galakh, and the Secretary-General, retired Brigadier General Hassan Rostom, head of the Lebanese delegation, member of the Executive Committee, Eng. Mazen Ramadan, and two committee members, Treasurer Khader Makled, lawyer Francois Saadeh, Italian coach Mario Conte and the technical staff. The first stage for the women’s category was held and included three rounds. Basil’s results were as follows: /25 University 67 points out of 75 points.

Today, Thursday, starting from three in the morning, the second stage of this competition will be held, in which Basil will participate, where two rounds of throwing will be held on 50 bowls, and in light of its results, the best 6 female bowlers will qualify for the final stage.
The second stage was in the swimming competitions, and the swimmer Munther Kabara competed in a different 200-meter competition under the title of enhancing his current number, which is 2,03.49 d. The mission, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Committee, retired Brigadier General Hassan Rostom, and the head of the mission, Eng. Mazen Ramadan, who congratulated him on behalf of the President and members of the Olympic Committee.
For his part, Kabbara said that he feels very proud, as his new number is the first number for Lebanon in the Olympic Games in the category (B cut) and thus qualifies for the 2021 World Championships, and he dedicated this result to Lebanon, his family, coach and members of the mission.
