The North Sumatra Police are investigating the former Samosir Police Chief, AKBP Josua Tampubolon regarding the case of embezzlement of Rp. 2.5 billion in tax money at the UPT Samsat Pangururan. Josua currently serves as Belawan Police Chief.
“Yes, Chief of Police Josua, former Head of Police (Samosir),” said North Sumatra Police Head of Public Relations, Kombes Hadi Wahyudi, Tuesday (28/3/2023).
According to Hadi, the former Samosir Police Chief who was questioned about the case was only AKBP Josua, nothing else.
“Just one, Joshua,” he said.
Apart from that, Hadi said that a number of other police officers were also being questioned. One of them is the Head of the Samosir Police, AKBP Yogie Hardiman.
Not only that, Kasatlantas, Head of Regident, and members of the Samosir Police Satnarkoba who initially found the body of the US Bripka, were also investigated.
“The Kasatlantas has the Regident Head Unit. Then, drug investigators were the first to find bodies at the TKP. There were about five people, they have also been asked for information,” he concluded.
