Basketball fans over the years have become familiar with the "Kardashian Curse", a problem that arises when a player starts dating a member of the Kardashian family.
The list of past and present players of the NBA who have attended or had an adventure with one of the family members is not short.
Kim Kardashian started dating basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011 when he was enjoying a breakout season with the then New Jersey Nets.
The two married for only 72 days and Humphries' basketball career struggled later, seeing him become an NBA journalist.
Sister Khloe has a longer rap sheet with league players after attending James Harden, Rashad McCants, Tristan Thompson and marrying Lamar Odom.
Odom's fall from grace was the greatest of all, with the star falling into drugs and sex addiction before he nearly died in a Las Vegas brothel.
Not wanting to lose, the young member of the Kendall family has moved into the world of basketball matches. Relationships with Jordan Clarkson, Chandler Parsons and even the Aussie Ben Simmons.
Philadelphia 76ers fans were not happy that Simmons came out with Kendall and launched a petition to be banned from the games.
Also on the c & # 39; list is the Detroit Pistons striker, Blake Griffin, who came out with Kendall before they separated after Griffin was traded by the Los Angeles Clippers to the Pistons.
Griffin made a name out of the field with his comic genius and during a roast of the Comedy Central for the movie and television star Alec Baldwin, he delivered pure gold.
Caitlyn Jenner was sitting on the stage and Griffin couldn't help but take aim at the family and give some stinging comments.
Previously known as Bruce Jenner, Caitlyn was married to the family matriarch Kris and the duo raised two daughters, Kendall and Kylie, before ending their marriage and she moved to become Caitlyn.
"Caitlyn completed her gender reassignment in 2017 … finally confirming that no one in that family wants a white guy," Griffin said.
Griffin then became a little serious and thanked Caitlyn for her bravery, before she dropped the bat in raucous laughter and applause.
"Really, I know we're all here to tease Caitlyn, but honestly I want to take this moment to thank you publicly," he said.
"As an athlete I want to thank you for your courage and as a human I want to thank you for the doors you opened …"
Then, after a slight pause, Griffin uttered the wild joke.
"And on behalf of the entire NBA and half of the rappers in the billboard rankings, I want to thank you for giving your daughters daddy problems"
I think it's safe to say that Griffin will not receive a Christmas card from Kendall this year and that the couple will not reignite their spark soon.
