American boxer Evander Holyfield said that his representatives are already negotiating with Mike Tyson on a third fight between the heavyweights. He stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel The 3 Point Conversion.
The 57-year-old American has confirmed that talk of a third fight is already underway. “There is no iron agreement yet, but everything is ahead,” Holyfield emphasized.
May 7 Holyfield announced that he would return to the ring to take part in the fight for charity. Earlier, 53-year-old Tyson allowed returning to boxing. The latter posted a training video that impressed fans and professionals.
In 1997, Tyson bit off an opponent’s ear during a rematch against Holyfield. The fight was not continued, and the American heavyweight was disqualified and fined three million dollars. Holyfield has two victories over Tyson.
Holyfield spent his last fight in 2011. He has 44 victories and ten defeats. Two fights with his participation ended in a draw.
