Cannabis and CBD saliva tests are confused: “All the more bizarre since CBD causes far fewer side effects”

Calling out that CBD has no psychotropic effect and that these saliva tests on drivers will triple this year.

Two phenomena on the rise. First, the consumption of CBD (cannabidiol), over the counter or available in pharmacies under medical prescription, is increasingly popular. Secondly, the number of drugged drivers is exploding: in 2019, 889 accidents due to drug use while driving were recorded, to reach 913 accidents in 2020. And the figures for the first half of 2021 confirm the increase.
