Cantabria has not registered new cases diagnosed or deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, and there are only two people admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Valdecilla Hospital in Santander, the lowest figure since March 15.
In this way, the balance of the disease in the region is 2,739 people who have tested positive for Covid-19, 2,256 diagnosed by PCR and the rest, 483, through serological tests for the detection of antibodies. The accumulated death toll is 205.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, the summary of this day also reflects 56 more cured, which brings to 2,110 the number of people who have overcome the coronavirus, 77 percent of the total infected.
Of the total cases diagnosed in the region, 424 remain active with coronavirus (50 less than yesterday), 23 of them hospitalized (2 in intensive care) and 401 in home quarantine.
The distribution of the 23 people admitted to hospitals in the region is as follows: 11 at Hospital Valdecilla de Santander; 6 at the Sierrallana Regional Hospital; 3 at the Tres Mares Hospital and 3 at the Laredo Hospital. 48,000 DETECTION TESTS PERFORMED
On the other hand, the number of coronavirus detection tests carried out so far in Cantabria is 47,971, in rate, 8,252 tests per 100,000 inhabitants (32,451 PCR and 15,520 serological antibody detection tests).
By specific groups, among health professionals the accumulated number of positive cases is 432 (209 diagnosed by PCR and 223 with rapid tests), of which 30 remain active.
As for people in residences, there is an accumulated a total of 735 cases detected, but only 27 percent remain active, in number 200.
