The first two lethal outcomes of coronavirus disease were reported in Tajikistan. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the state television of the country.

The Tajik Ministry of Health has officially confirmed that two people died as a result of the pandemic. According to the latest data, 76 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in the country.

Previously, Tajikistan closed its borders to foreigners and stateless persons to prevent the spread of infection, but later the first cases of infection were discovered in the country.
