The commemorative ceremonies on the occasion of the centennial of the 1918 armistice will have a major impact on traffic in the capital. In fact, many roads will be closed for security reasons and to ensure the smooth running of events.
Sunday 11 the streets will be very disturbed in the capital and various districts will be affected.
First of all, this Saturday at 5:30 pm it is forbidden to park on many streets of the 8th, 17th and 16th arrondissements as part of the memorial ceremony on the Champs-Elysees.

Moreover, from 7:00 on Sunday traffic will be completely interrupted on the tracks that surround the most beautiful street in the world.
Note: the device will also be disturbed. Between 7h and 13h the Porte Dauphine exits, internal and external avenues, will be closed.
The Great Hall of La Villette, in the 19th arrondissement, will host the Paris Forum on Peace. From 13h the traffic will be very limited and therefore prohibited in the surroundings. The police prefecture also indicated: that "Traffic on the inner ring road will be neutralized between the Porte de la Muette and Porte de Pantin from 13:00 to 16:00".
However beware, two Paris gates will be closed until 20h: the Dauphine and Pantin doors.
An event will also take place on the Place de la République, in the heart of Paris, where an event is scheduled for 14 hours. traffic will be very limited in the area around the place.
